Mt. Juliet residents are invited to a public meeting to provide input on the development of Mt. Juliet’s Land Use and Transportation Plan Update. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, at 6:00 pm in the Mt. Juliet City Court Room, located in the Mt. Juliet City Hall, 2425 N. Mt. Juliet Road.
Project consultants will provide an overview of the Land Use and Transportation Plan Update and facilitate activities to receive feedback on topics including land use and transportation development over the next 20 years. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the meeting.
Mt. Juliet is updating their Land Use and Transportation Plan for the first time in five years. The current Land Use and Transportation Plan was adopted in 2008 and Mt. Juliet has undergone numerous changes since then. This is an opportunity to refine the plan, consider new issues, and revise policies based on recent growth. The plan will describe the community’s vision and desired development patterns while providing direction for achieving this future vision.
